What to flip a coin for
Who goes first, who pays or which movie tonight? When nobody agrees, flipping a coin is still the fastest and most neutral way to decide. Tap “Flip a coin” and in a second you get heads or tails. Need more? Flip 2, 3, 5 or 10 coins at once and see how many heads and tails came up. The tally and the latest flips stay on screen, so it also works for a probability lesson: after many flips you will see the percentage get close to 50%. Every result comes from your browser's cryptographic random generator, with no tricks and nothing saved.

Frequently asked questions
Is an online coin flip fair?
Yes. Each flip uses your browser's cryptographic random generator and discards values that could tilt the result, so heads and tails have exactly the same chance.
If it landed heads three times, is tails more likely next?
No. Every flip is independent: the coin doesn't remember earlier ones, so the chance stays 50% for each side. Only over many flips does the tally get close to half.
Can I flip several coins at once?
Yes. Choose 2, 3, 5 or 10 under “Coins per flip” to see every coin and the total heads and tails for that toss.
