Featured dates

What is celebrated today? This calendar brings together the international days proclaimed by the United Nations and the best-known fixed-date celebrations, such as New Year, Epiphany, Valentine's Day, Halloween, the Day of the Dead and the national days of Spanish-speaking countries. Choose a month, tap a day to see everything observed on it, and search by name to find a date. Each entry shows whether it is a UN day, a celebration or a national holiday, with its country. Only fixed dates are included: celebrations that move every year, such as Easter, do not appear.

Where to use it and what to keep in mind

National holidays may be moved to another day off by each country's law in a given year. Check your country's official calendar if you need the exact day off.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the dates come from?

International days come from the official UN list, and national holidays and celebrations from official or reference sources. Each entry keeps the link that confirms its date.

Why aren't Easter or Carnival listed?

Because their date changes every year. This calendar includes only fixed-date celebrations that fall on the same day each year.

Can I use the calendar to plan posts?

Yes. It is handy for planning social media content, school activities or greetings. Always check your own country's local dates before you publish.
